Adee Lee Ganes

Funeral Services for Adee Lee Ganes will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Mill City Baptist Church. The family will receive friends and family one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Mill City Baptist Church 600 Holland Ave. Cayce, SC 29033. Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.

Adee was born on April 16, 1951 in Rock County, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Donald K. Willcutt and Florence M. Countryman. Adee was adopted by her loving parents and kept a loving relationship with all her biological family. She was a member of Mill City Baptist Church, formerly known as Cayce First Baptist Church. Adee was one of the first females on the Navy rifle team.  She traded all her career to be a loving wife to the late Willard T. Ganes and her family. Nana – was snow white and all the animals in God’s creation loved her.

Adee is survived by her sons, Willard Truman “Billy” Ganes II, Donald “DK” Kenneth Ganes (Amanda), Charles Anthony “Tony” Ganes (Jamie); daughters, Kathy Lynn Ganes (Michael Anderson) and Kristy Farmer; brothers, Russell and Richard (Hilga); her sisters, Pamela (Jim), Anita (Chuck), Patty and Peggy; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
