Zelda Sharpe Shealy

Leesville-Funeral Services for Zelda Sharpe Shealy, 83, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel with the Rev. Mark Bredholt officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth Children's Home P. O. Box 50466 Columbia, SC 29250.

Mrs. Shealy passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018. Born in Swansea, she was the daughter of the late William Hoyt and Annie Redmon Wise Hoffman and was adopted and raised by Lilly Sharpe. She was a member of Old Lexington Baptist Church and Delmar Community Club. Mrs. Shealy was a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneer and was retired from Southern Bell as an operator and accountant.

She is survived by her husband,  sole mate, and caretaker, Larry O. Shealy; son, Dale (Karen) Shealy and Robert L. Shealy; daughters, Melanie R. (John) Collins and Sharon (Charlie) Meetze; a special niece, Debbie Hoffman; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by numerous brothers and sisters.
