Sunday, October 27, 2019 the world lost a ray of light and a precious gift. Surrounded by family, Tracy left the world to enter Heaven. Tracy Woodson Ajgaonkar of Lexington, SC, was a true champion and fighter against cancer. With her Faith, Hope, and Love…. she defied all odds to be a survivor and to fight all the odds on her terms. She shared love and positivity everywhere she went, always having a kind word for anyone she met. Everyone who met Tracy loved her.
Tracy was a wonderful wife and best friend to her Husband, Anand, for their 25 year relationship. She was a loving, doting, proud mother to Jennifer (Andre), Alexander, and Aiden. She loved being a Nanna to her beautiful grandchildren; Mylasia, Marina, Amayah, Arianna, and Elijah. Her family was her truest, greatest joy, and loves of her life.
Tracy was a volunteer at Red Bank United Methodist Church as an Assistant Scout Master for Boyscouts Troop 518 and Den Leader for Cubscouts Pack 518 for many years. Tracy was an active Representative of Amway. Tracy is predeceased by her father, Purcell Junior Woodson and her sister, Connie Faye Houchens.
Tracy is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren all of Lexington; her mother, Carole Jean Woodson; her brothers, Purcell Junior Woodson Jr. (Lucinda) and Tony Woodson (Beth), nieces and nephews all of Virginia.
Funeral arrangements are handled by Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Celebration of Life Service will be at Red Bank United Methodist Church in Red Bank on Sunday, November 3, 2019. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary with services starting at 3:00 p.m, officiated by Steven Scheid.
