Thomas J Browder

A Celebration of Life for Thomas J. Browder, 79, will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, 4625 Hwy. 321; Gaston, SC 29053 with a visitation following the service.

Mr. Browder passed away October 16, 2018. Born in Andrews, SC, he was the son of the late Thomas Whaley and Elizabeth Ard Browder. He had a love for his animals from his foxhounds to his cat. Mr. Browder enjoyed his time fishing in Sparkleberry Swamp, tending to his grapevines and watching the ducks in the yard. More importantly, he had a strong love and affinity for his family and loved telling humorous stories with them.

He is survived by his wife; Virginia Kinsey Browder, son; Thomas "Jerry" Browder, Jr. (Eva), daughters; Virginia Marie Crowell (Joseph), Sandra K. Lossman (Robert), and Paula Browder-Fry (Christopher), grandchildren; Rocky Jeffcoat, Deanna Wright, Tabitha Cade, Ricky Doss, Jenny Reeves, Krystin Swindler, Stephanie Lossman, Matthew Browder, Rachel Fry, Kyle and Clayton Churchville, great-grandchildren, Daniel, Joseph, and Josh Cochran, John Cade, Jr., Dilan Jeffcoat, Cole and Madison Reeves, Richard Bentley Doss, Lilah Swindler, Paxton Browder and Mia Browder, Kealy and Charlee Churchville, sisters; Dottie Callahan, Vera Knab, Mildred Cribb, and Dora Sowell.

He was predeceased by his brothers; Paul Roger Browder and Wendell Ard, and sisters; Adrial McCrea and Edith Faye Burrows.
