Teofilo Julio Romero Salinas

Julio Teofilo Romero Salinas, lovingly known as Papa, passed away on October 16th, 2018 at Lexington Medical Center, aged 80. Born in Peru, he was the son of the late Emilio Romero and Alejandrina Salinas. He had a tough start to life but in true Julio fashion, he was stubborn and refused to let that define the rest of his life. He took it as motivation to build a beautiful, strong family that always had their Mother and Father together. As a result, he has left a legacy behind. His survivors include his beautiful wife Carmen Rosa Romero Anampa along with their 3 daughters, 2 sons, 6 granddaughters, and 4 grandsons. He is also survived by his sister and many amazing family members and loyal friends. 

 He was a man with a strong character but he always had a tender and loving heart. Through the rollercoaster of life, he always fought hard for his family and stayed by their side. He always showed them how to love unconditionally, fight for what they believe in, and keep moving forward regardless of how hard life gets. He will be greatly missed but the family feels blessed to have him as a Guardian Angel.

Visitation will take place Thursday, October 19th from 6 pm-8 pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home located at 609 Northwood Road, Lexington SC 29071. The funeral will be held on Friday, October 19th, from 9:30 am to 12 pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home located at 609 Northwood Road, Lexington SC 29071. The burial will also take place on October 19th and will be from 12:30 pm- 2:30 pm at Celestial Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum located at 3111 Delree Street, West Columbia, SC 29170.
