Services for Sylvia Steele Williams Johnson, 83, will be private. Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Webster and Lillian Crout Steele. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was a retired seamstress with Capital City Casket Company.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Beth Williams and John David (Kelly) Williams; great-grandchildren, Daisy, Bridget, and Charlotte Crowell; brother, Coolidge Steele; sisters, Joyce Kneece and Grace Harmon. She was predeceased by her sons, Dwight and Robert Williams, and her husbands, John Williams and Robert Johnson.
