Please accept my condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Steven, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. This happens when we experience the loss of someone loved. However, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, God can and will restore perfect life to those in His memory as explained in the faith strengthening video:

My condolences to the family for your loss. May you find comfort in God's promise to soon undo death by means of an earthly resurrection (John 5:28,29; Revelation 21:4; Isaiah 25:8). For more encouraging thoughts visit the website www.jw.org

My deepest condolences to the Cash family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for a long time and falls asleep in death they have made a history yes, beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. And, my heart aches for you. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.
Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,
Sissy
