Sarah Esther B Hall

Sarah Esther Boozer Hall, "Sis", left this wonderful world on August 5, 2018. She loved and was loved by many family, friends and colleagues. Mrs. Hall was born January 28, 1923 to Max and Leila Boozer and was the last of 12 children. She lived a full life and cherished her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Hall had more friends than one could count and had a great life-long friendship with her Newberry College    "Barrel Gang". She taught school for 38 years, had a strong faith in God, loved and supported her church. We will all miss her very much but will be consoled by the fact that she is back with her family, her special friends, and loved ones who have gone before her. Mrs. Hall was pre-deceased by her husband, Thermon E. Hall and son-in-law Al Niver. She is survived by her 4 children: Karen Niver, Tim (Debbie), Gene ( LeeAnn), Ray (Cindy);  7 grandchildren: Tim Niver ( Donna Kay), Laurie Scurry (Grand), Max & Sarah Hall, Madison and Ellie Hall, Leanna Usry (Billy); 3 great-grandchildren: Hannah Niver, Conner & Ella Scurry. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Newberry College, or to a charity of one's choice. Please do not send flowers as they will wither and die so quickly. We hold tight to her memory which will never wither and die for us. An informal visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m.  until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday in the social hall of Faith Lutheran Church, 113 North Oak St.,  Batesburg SC.  Her memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
