Samuel “Sam” Charles Johnson

Samuel "Sam" Charles Johnson passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 7, 2018. He was born on February 27, 1951 to Carl and Dorothy Lovell Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary W. Johnson of Lexington, his three children; Charlie Johnson of Winston-Salem, NC; David Johnson of Lexington and Angie (Wayne) Martin of West Columbia. He leaves behind four grandchildren; Kayla (Drew) Blackwell, Austin Martin of West Columbia, Bryce Johnson, Nicklas Brown, as well as two great grandchildren, Rylynn and Dawsey Blackwell. Mr. Johnson also leaves behind five siblings; Bill (Judy) Johnson of Barnesville GA, Linda (George) of Charleston, Brenda Mack of Cayce, BJ (Linda) Johnson of Lexington, and Lisa Johnson of Lexington. He leaves behind his beloved fur babies "nurse" Lady Bug and "Pattycake" Levi along with many nephews and nieces. Mr. Johnson loved his family and was a devoted husband.  He loved NASCAR and the USC Gamecocks.

With Sam, one thing was for sure, he did things his way.
