Ruth Clark Sease

Ruth Clark Sease. 69, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018. Born April 12, 1948 in Aiken County, she was a daughter of the late Joe F. Clark and Nina Lee Hall Clark.

A long time member of Red Bank United Methodist Church and employee of Lexington Elementary, Ruth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and caretaker to many children. She was a member of Al-Anon in Gilbert and delivered newspapers for The State for many years.

Survivors include her loving husband of 40 years, John Sease; sons John Wayne Sease (Heidi), Ken Sease (Susan), Andy Mitchell; daughters JoAnne G. Southworth (Chip), Teresa A. Boatwright (Anthony Sr.), Rebecca G. Kyzer (Mike), Janet S. Phillips (Keith); grandchildren Taylor Sease (Danielle), Mary Beth Powell (Kevin), Amber Hawkins (Matt), Emily Boatwright, Anthony Boatwright, Jr., Ryan Southworth, Lindsey Southworth, Leanne Kyzer, Hanna Kyzer, Haley Kyzer, Maggie Sease, Abby Sease, Nataleigh Sease, Lucas Sease, Josh Phillips, and Jake Phillips; brother Leonard Clark (Rachel); sisters Brenda Poole, Judy New (Glenn), Alice Shealy (Marty); sister-in-law Jeannette Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Joe Dean Clark; sisters Carolyn Kern, Mary Ellen Heyward, and Louise Poole.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Monday, March 5, 2018, at Red Bank United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Bank United Methodist Church 2909 Old Barnwell Rd., Lexington, Sc, 29073. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
