Services for Ruby Redmon Walker, 92, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Eastside Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Christ the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church Tape Ministry P O Box 2159, B-L SC 29070. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Christian Enrichment Center of Eastside. Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.
Mrs. Walker passed away Thursday November 2, 2017. She was born June 25, 1925 in Lexington County, the daughter of the late ID and Leona Redmon. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church where she willingly served in many different areas.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, James D. Walker; son, Ronnie Walker (Sandra); daughters, Jeannene Derrick (Teddy) and Christie Rabon (Robbie); grandchildren, Shannon (Sabrina) Walker and Bryan (Kay) Derrick; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Skyler Walker, Jenna, Noah, and Abby Derrick; brother, Paul Redmon (Julia).
