Ron Williams

Memorial service for Ronald “Ron” S. Williams, 81, will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to MSA Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.  

Mr. Williams passed away Monday, May 6, 2019.  Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Thomas Dupree and Mildred Beulah Beaty Williams.  He was an Air Force Veteran and was a retired truck driver with Bilo. 

Surviving are his wife, Mary Stone Williams; son, Jerry L. Williams (Cindy); daughters, Stephanie Gillespie (Lance) and Deborah Leigh Gantt (Glenn); sister, Sue Freeman; grandchildren, Jacob Williams, Benjamin Bagwell, Helen Shelley Wilson, Emily and Conner Gantt.  He was predeceased by his twin brother, Donald N. Williams.
