Robert "Bob" Lewis Wells

Robert Lewis Wells (Bob), 72, of Lexington, SC husband of 51 years to Betty W. Wells passed away November 2, 2019. He was born to the late Gerude Paul and Mable Fields Wells in Greenville, SC on May 14, 1947.

Bob was a member of Lake Murray Baptist Church where he served on the Security Team, Welcoming Committee, and a part of the Tidwell Sunday School Class Connect Group. He was retired for several years from sales management.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Betty and his children: Danielle Wells Rasmussen (Chris), Emily Dawn Wells, Robert Dunstan Wells (Danielle) and John Daniel Cook; and grandchildren Hannah (Christian), Wells (Emma), Sloane, Clay, Sarah, Rucker, and Riley. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Michael and Bonnie Wells of Florida, sister and brother-in-law, Mitchell and Margaret Cole of Belton, SC as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held for Bob at Lake Murray Baptist Church 1001 Highway 378 West, Lexington, SC 29072 on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM in the church foyer. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
