Please accept our condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Richard, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. However, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, unlike humans, only God has the ability to restore perfect life on earth to those in His memory. Notice how the Bible stress this fact in the faith strengthening video Below:

My condolences to the Holstein Family for your loss. May you find comfort in God’s promise to soon bring an end to all sickness and death forever by means of an earthly resurrection (John 5:28,29; Revelation 21:4; Isaiah 25:8). jw.org

Melvin Cauthern just called to let me know of Dick's passing. Dick left all of us in the Farm Credit with many fond memories. I will always remember that he had time to help all of us with our challenges. His frankness was greatly appreciated.
We need more Dick Holstein's in our lives. You are in our prayers. Keep looking up; he would not us to ever look back except to learn..... Best Regards,

My deepest condolences to the Holstein family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for 80 years and falls asleep in death they have made beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. And, my heart aches for you. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.

Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,
Sissy

We don't know what to say except that we love you. We can't understand exactly how you feel, but Jehovah God does and will keep raising you up. We hope that our prayers help a little.

Dick & Pat were long time Farm Credit friends of ours. They were class act individuals & in addition were Southern Gentile couple that will be missed in all walks of life.. Was a great pleasure of ours having the opportunity to know them as long as we did.
