It is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Ken. Please accept my condolences and know that our loving God is keenly aware of your distressing pain. His comforting word assures us that in due time, he will eliminate all suffering on earth, including death. Notice how the Bible stresses that fact in the faith strengthening video below:

My deepest condolences to the family,
May you find some comfort in the Gift that the Most High God has given us, yes His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). I would like to share a few Scriptures that helped us to cope when our precious daughter died and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death: (Isaiah 25:8)swallow up death, (Isaiah 33:24)no more sickness, (John 5:28, 29)seeing loved ones again, (2Corinthians 1:3) yes God can comfort us, to deal with present situations. But, He also says where we can see our loved ones again at Psalms 37:11 and how long Psalms 37:29. I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to me.
