Retha Taylor Price

Retha Taylor Price, 91, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Almont and Agnes Taylor, her husband, Holley Price, and her brother, Hubert Taylor. She is survived by her son, Edward Price,  her daughter, Peggy (Sammy) Crouch, both of Gilbert, and her grandson, Matthew Sease, of Columbia. She was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church in Leesville. Retha was a homemaker, dedicated mother, and talented seamstress. The funeral service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Leesville, on Thursday, November 9, 2017  at 3 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 308 Church Street, Leesville, SC 29070.
