Ralph O. Pilot

Gilbert– Funeral Service for Ralph Odell Pilot, 88, will be conducted 4:30 p.m. Sunday November 17, 2019 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

  Mr. Pilot was born in Aiken, SC on December 2, 1930 and passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019. He was a son of the late Fayette Author Pilot and Jettie Blanch Pilot.  He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Aiken, SC for many years of faithful service as a Treasurer, Deacon, and Elder of the church. He retired from SRS after 36 years.

  Mr. Pilot is survived by his son, Dallas Pilot of Allentown, PA; daughters, Janet Devore of Aiken, SC and Kimberly Davidson of Warrenville, SC; brothers, Grover, Otis and Stanley Pilot; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

  He was predeceased by his wife, Gladys Steele Pilot; sisters, Catherine, Gertrude, Viola, and Pauline; brothers, Steve, Donnie, LeRoy, and Gerald. Special Thanks from the family to Sharon Steele his faithful companion.
