Rachel "June" Reynolds

Lyjune “June” Hair Reynolds, 78, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2018, surrounded by her family.

June was born in Columbia, South Carolina, to Hubert and Lovie Mae Hair on April 6,1940. She attended Lexington High School and graduated in 1958. She went on to work at the South Carolina Highway Department for approximately 10 years. Once she became a mother, she dedicated her life to being a loving mother, exceptional homemaker, and in-home day care provider for numerous children in the community. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking, and being around family, especially her grandchildren.

June is predeceased by a brother, Franklin Hair, and a sister, Iris Hair. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dennis Reynolds; two sons, Christopher (Nikki Baxley) Reynolds, and Mike (Cindy) Reynolds; daughter, Nikki (Bryson) Koon; grandchildren, Brianna, Dalton, Matthew, Rachel, Nathan and Caroline; sister, Shirley Hair Steele; brother, Melfie Lamar Hair; niece, Shawnette (Stuart) Sheffer; and nephew, Chuck (Gayle) Steele.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 16, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Barr Price Funeral Home in Lexington, South Carolina, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 3:00 pm.
