Philip H. Conlon

A Memorial Mass for Philip H. Conlon, 74, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Visitation and a luncheon will follow the Mass at the church.

Mr. Conlon passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018.  Born in Sturgeon Bay, WI, he was the son of the late Henry N. and Mildred Writt Conlon and was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  He had a passion for carpentry, enjoyed NASCAR and was a US Navy Veteran having served from 1962-1966 where he earned The National Defense Service Medal and The Vietnam Service Medal.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Suzanne M. Conlon, son, Michael Conlon (Carly); daughter, Lori Griffith (Stacey); grandchildren, Jack and Avery Conlon and Grant and Rhett Griffith; numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Patrick Conlon (Anita) and brother-in-law, Daniel Ploor.  He was predeceased by his sister, Helen Ploor.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lexington Oncology for their loving care and support, especially to Dr. Madden and the nurses on the 6th floor at Lexington Medical Center for their care and compassion during his final days.
