While at her home her caretakers were Alisha, Pam, Jessica, Cornell, Casandra, and Ivory.  They all loved her and gave their very best in care for her needs.  Mrs. Polly had just celebrated her 93rd birthday with family and friends.  Mother was predeceased by her husband, of 56 years, G. A. Weathersby.  Mrs. Polly was predeceased by her father and mother, Nathaniel Bright and Mattie Lea Martin Bright.

There were three children, Kathy W. Edwards (David), Susan W. Hubble (Jim) and G.A. Weathersby II (Dianne W.).  Polly was blessed with 4 grandchildren, David L. Edwards II, (Kenyetta), Sara T. Edwards, Gary A. Weathersby (Angie) and Kimberly (John) Long.  7 great grandchildren, Zachary Wolter, David L. Edwards III, Austin, Ashton, Alex, Ansley and Ashton B. Weathersby., and great, great grandchildren  Jackson, Luke, and Olivia Long.  She was predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Polly was a true believer in God and in his son, Jesus Christ.  Mrs. Polly lived to please Jesus Christ.  She was a Sunday School Teacher and helped bring many little boys and girls to the Lord.  She helped the sick, gave to those who needed help, was a comforter to those sick or bereaved, lending an ear to listen, a warm smile, sparkling eyes, a shoulder to cry on, and feet that came quick for those in need.  Polly helped and worked in businesses, while raising her children, helping with homework, preparing three meals a day, cleaning and dusting the house.

God was first in her life with a bright smile and a gentle touch.

The bells are ringing in heaven, welcoming another angel home.  “Well done, thy good and faithful servant”.  Amen and Amen.
