Ned Randall Tolar

Ned Randall Tolar, 75, passed away January 12, 2020 at Lexington Medical Center. He was born in Fayetteville, NC to the late N.S. Tolar and Nellie Margaret Dunn Tolar of Lumber Bridge, NC on October 3, 1944. Ned was a former Lexington County Council Member and was the owner/operator of Tolar Properties of West Columbia, SC. He served in the Air Force and was a member of Arsenal Presbyterian Church. Ned was most proud of his relationship with God. He was a loving husband caring father and friend. He graduated high school in Red Springs, NC and attended UNC Chapel Hill. He is survived by his wife, Vicky Tolar, daughter, Sadie Tolar Allen and grand-daughter Alexis Allen of Bladenboro, NC and a brother, Nathaniel Tolar and wife Sandra of Southport, NC. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Arsenal Hill Presbyterian Church, 1103 Laurel St., Columbia, SC. Followed by a 2:00 p.m. graveside service at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd. SC. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
