Milton Wyatt Dimery was born August 6, 1949 to William Wyatt Dimery and Ila Turner Dimery of Marion, SC. He was the youngest of 8 children. He also retired from the SC Army National Guard after serving honorably for 20 years. Since 1992 he was employed by the Lexington/Richland School District 5 Transportation Department. He was a devoted family man who selflessly served others.
Family was the most important aspect of his life. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Frances, son Jason and his wife Paula, and daughter Heather. He is also survived by his brother, D.L. Dimery and his wife Cookie, and sister Ella Kimbrough and her husband Lloyd. He also had many nieces, nephews, and cousins who thought the world of him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Allene Strickland, Marilyn McVeigh, Arlee Dimery, Lloyd Dimery, and Esmond Dimery.
While his body endured months of pain and suffering, we are comforted knowing that he is now resting peacefully in his Heavenly home.
