Michael S. Goodlet

Saluda-Memorial Services for Michael S. Goodlet, 67, will be conducted at Celebration Church at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2019 with the Rev. Jerry Brunson, Rev. Joseph Hallman and Rev. Kenneth Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Celebration Church Building Fund, 1765 Batesburg Highway, Batesburg SC 29006.                        

Mr. Goodlet died Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Born in Wilmore, KY he was a son of the late Stanley and Fannie Smith Goodlet. He was a member of Celebration Church and was a housing inspector for the City of Columbia. The family is being assisted by Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Wilma Elledge Goodlet; son, Joshua Goodlet (Tabitha), daughter, Alison Steele (James); grandchildren, Nevin Norville, Bianca Goodlet and a sister, Carol Hill (Oscar).

God needed a man with “Golden hands” so he called Michael home. Michael could build anything. He loved to sing and fish. He also loved to tease people.
