Mattie Bryant Obituary

Mattie L. Bryant, 75, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Born in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Loris and Flossie Keisler Birchmore. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was loved greatly and will be missed by all tremendously.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne Driggers and Eric Bryant, daughter, Holly Bryant, brothers, Birley and Robert (Audrey) Birchmore, sisters, Patricia A., Melissa and Laurie Birchmore, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a husband, Hollis Cole Bryant, daughter, Bridget Johnson, brothers, Johnnie and Albert Birchmore, and sisters, Edith Laster and Deloris Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to send their gracious appreciation to the staff from the Amedisys Hospice staff for their exceptional love and care, especially Jasmine and Tawana.
