Mary Ellen Lofton
Mary would like to let you know that her work here is done. She arrived at the Good Place on June 30th, 2018.
We imagine she pulled up to the pearly gates in her ’65 baby blue Mustang with M&M’s on the dash, a box of Russell Stover’s on the passenger seat, and an endless supply of Cadbury Crème eggs in the glove box (in case of emergency). The radio is tuned to Clark Howard and her bag is full of Sweet N’ Low packets she managed to “collect” along the way.
As we wave good-bye, we can see there is a bumper sticker curiously declaring, “What happens at Grandma’s, stays at Grandma’s!” and we can hear the echo of her voice proclaiming, “I love you to infinity and beyond!”
