Services for Mae Dyches Meetze, 76, will be private. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 308 Church St., Leesville (Summit) SC 29070.
Ms. Meetze passed away Thursday. Born in Richland County, she was a daughter of the late Heyward and Claudie Dyches. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her children, Brenda (Randy) Heywood and Ricky A. (Peggy) Meetze; daughter-in-law Cheryl Meetze; sister, Lera Gifford; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, T. Wayne Meetze.
