Lola C Atkinson

Services for Lola C. Atkinson, 72, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.  Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 W. Dunbar Rd. West Columbia, SC.  The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m..
 Lola passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11th, 2018. Surviving are her husband, Dr. Charles Atkinson; son, Preston S. Cannon (Amy) and daughter, Bonnie C. Jett (Larry); Grandchildren, Hayley, Harper and Davis.
 Lola was a Christian woman who served her church, (Columbia First Nazarene) and her family with love and dedication.  She enjoyed her work of 38 years with Lexington/Richland School District 5, as well as working as a tax preparer, and at a veterinarian’s office.  She enjoyed quilting, cooking and sewing.
