Ligon Eugene Taylor

Ligon Eugene Taylor, 87, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017. Born in Gilbert, SC, he was the son of the late Ligon and Alva Dunbar Taylor. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran where he obtained his love as an Aircraft Mechanic where he enjoyed working on Corsairs. He also learned his love for driving trucks.

Surviving are his daughters, Nina E. and Larry Dooley, Candy and Shawn Williams, brother Edwin Taylor, sister, Vernell Wilkins, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Smith Taylor, son Terry E. Taylor, 2 step sons and a sister Lois Shealy.

A private service will be held at a later date.
