Keomany Rose Hallman of Loganville passed away at the young age of 62 after a long battle with cancer. Keomany was born on January 2, 1957 to Hong Phouangmalay and Khammeung Phouangmalay.
Keomany is survived by Gene Andrew Hallman, her loving husband of 22 years. They were married in Decatur, GA on December 12, 1996. Keomany is also survived by her daughters, Viola and Vicki; her mother, Hong Phouangmalay; siblings, Thongsy, Pavy, Khampy, Sengmany, Phoutsady, Chanthamaly, Nongsy, Malaysy, and Spencer; and several nieces and nephews. Keomany was predeceased by her father, Khammeung Phouangmalay, and sister, Souvanhny.
Keomany was a native of Vientiane, Laos where she was born. She lived most of her life in the Atlanta area and worked as a technician for Durham Geo before becoming a full-time homemaker for her family. Keomany enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She also loved animals, working in the yard, and staying fit.
The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Keomany Rose Hallman will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Pastor Khamseng will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hallman will be taken to Barr-Price Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville, SC for a visitation on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM and a service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM. Pastor Henry Stamper from First Baptist Batesburg will be officiating. The pallbearers include Jay Hallman, Chanthamaly (John) Phouangmalay, Matthew Hallman, Phoutsady (Bruce) Phouangmalay, Easton Hallman, and Koraky Phouangmalay. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park, Batesburg, SC.
