Kenneth Douglas Lamons

Kenneth Lamons, 61, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018. Born May 22, 1957 in Norfolk, VA, he was a son of the late Carl Lee Lamons and Eva Lee Hales Lamons.

A carpet and hardwood flooring installer for over 20 years, Mr. Lamons enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his brothers Clinton E. Parnell, Jr. (Rachel), Jasper Allen Parnell; sisters Joyce Parnell Sawyer (Ray), Gloria Jean Parnell Barber (Jimmy); along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation for Mr. Lamons will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church, 823 Jackson St., West Columbia, SC, 29169 with a small memorial service in between to share stories with family and friends. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
