Joyce Martin

Joyce Ann Martin, age 75, went to be with the Lord on November 12, 2017.  She loved the Lord our God with all heart, soul, and mind.  Joyce is survived by her husband, Donald Martin and four children, Donnie Martin (Candace), Lisa Phillips, Michael Martin (Charlene), Paul Martin (Jennifer) and a sister, Margie Eleazer.  Joyce  is especially proud of her ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Joyce was born in the Oak Grove Community of South Carolina to the late Hazel and Naomi Kolb.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Louvennia Frye and a brother, H. L. Kolb.  Joyce was a member of River Bluff Baptist Church, a phenomenal musician, artist and writer.

Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, 609 Northwood Rd., Lexington SC 29072.  The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers from Heartstrings Hospice and a special thanks to her granddaughter, Jennifer Pridgen for all the countless hours put in during this time.
