Johnny M White

Johnny White passed away on January 5th, 2019 at the age of 58. Born and raised in Irmo, Johnny lived across the country throughout his life returning to the Columbia area in 1999.  A loving father, Johnny leaves behind three children as well as loved ones that were like his own children to him. A truck driver and mechanic for most of his life, he managed to instill a love of music to his children from an early age as well as a love of the road trip. A visitation was held in his honor on January 9th, where friends and loved ones were able to gather to pay their final respects. He is preceeded in death by his mother and father, Elizabeth and James Morgan White Sr. as well as his siblings, Frida Gale, Billy Joe, and James Morgan Jr. Surviving are his three children, Brandy Bentley (Jake) of Shreveport, Louisiana, Dakota (Tara) of Gilbert, South Carolina and Ethan of West Columbia. He also leaves behind two grandsons, Aiden and Morgan. Johnny will be missed by all who loved him.
