He dearly loved his family and is survived by his sweetheart of 53 years, Joanne Sightler Raley.  His daughter Melanie, her husband James and their sons, Austin and Alexander.  His son Brent, his wife Stephanie and their children Garrett, Katherine, Emily and Hayes.  His brother Jerome (Lee) Raley, twin sister Bonnie (Larry) Jordan, and sister Nora Furtick.  He is also survived by his special nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends.

John was pre-deceased by his parents, in-laws Walter and Leona Sightler, brother-in-law Jackie Furtick and daughter-in-law Audrea Turner Raley.
