Joel G. Bailey

Memorial Service for Joel Gordon Bailey, 58, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to PALSS.

  Mr. Bailey passed away Monday, January 13, 2020. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of Maggie Lenorah Huggins Bailey and the late Harold "Bill" F. Bailey.  He volunteered at PALSS, was a world traveler, prankster, and animal lover. Mr. Bailey enjoyed reading books, loved music, had a kind soul and was a very loving person.

  He is survived by his mother; sister, Teresa Bailey Conner; niece, Hannah (T.J.) Taylor; nephew, Bryson Conner; soon to arrive great-nephew, Matthew Taylor; lifelong friends, Joey Cascio, Dana Drinkard, and Lauren Drinkard; beloved dogs, Patch, Pepper, and Roscoe; and beloved cat, Boo.
