Jenis “Pops” Ingle born June 11, 1937 in Jonesville, Virginia to the late Bertha and Clyde Ingle, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Born one of nine children, he was predeceased by his beloved sister Mary Marie Ingle Hurley (Carroll), brothers Clifford Ingle, John Ingle and Rex Ingle (Wilda). He leaves behind five loving brothers Gilbert Ingle (Peggy), Dewey Ingle, Kenneth Ingle (Donna) and Ralph Ingle (Mary) and multiple loving nieces and nephews. On June 2, 1958 Mr Ingle married the love of his life, sweet Peggy Jane (Hurley) Ingle. Together they blessed this world with three loving and devoted children, Charlotte Whittle (Scott), Brian Ingle (Kim) and Charles Ingle (Janet). God once again smiled upon his seed and blessed him with seven precious grandchildren, Stephanie Burlingame Shumpert (Russell), Charles Alan Burlingame (Heather), Nicole Ingle Aycock (Theo), Corey Ingle (Brianna), Austin Ingle, Kayla Ingle (Colton) and Lily Rose Ingle. God breathed once again and graciously gave Mr Ingle the thirteen great grandchildren who would bring the utmost joy into his latter years, Alec Burlingame, Victoria Daniel Shumpert, Victoria Ann Simmons, Brett Shumpert, Laura Beth Burlingame, twins Devin / Luke Shumpert, Karli Burlingame, Hope Burlingame, Faith Burlingame, twins Emily / Avery Ingle and Haley Jane Aycock. He also leaves behind his loving and loyal dog Reese, who never left his side throughout his two year illness. The love of Mr Ingles life was his family, his church, Dolorosa Worship Center and his business, Elite Paint & Towing service which he shared with his sons Chuck and Brian.
He loved serving the residents of Lexington County and working with the Lexington County Sheriffs Department and Highway Patrol.
All services for Mr Ingle will be held at the Dolorosa Worship Center (365 Old Charleston Road, Pelion, SC, 29123). Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21 from 6-8pm. Celebration of his Life will be held Wed., May 22 at 1pm. Our family would like to thank each one for your kind thoughts, prayers and visits.
