James "Jim" Shirley

James “Jim” Shirley, 79 was born July 25, 1938 in Hartsville SC.

He was granted his wings and went to his heavenly home on May 31, 2018.

The graveside service for James “Jim” Shirley will be held 2:00 pm Saturday,   June 9, 2018. The service will be held at Edmund First Baptist Church, 6256 Edmund Highway, Lexington SC.

Predeceased by Sam M. & Etta Mae Shirley and sister Pam McClendon.

Surviving is his spouse of 45 years Darlene Shirley, Michael Shirley (son) ,Cathy Humphries (daughter )  of Columbia, SC

Member of Edmund First Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years.

He was a lifelong Gamecock Fan and a fan of the Atlanta Braves.

He served in the Army and retired from K-Mart in 1998.
