James “Chris” Smith

On December 1, 2018 James "Chris" Smith, 46, passed onto peace. He was the loving husband of 27 years to Tabitha Smith. The most amazing and loving father to Jordan Smith, Rebecca Smith, and a Daddy to a Brazilian daughter Raquel Isaac. He was a very proud poppy to his first and only granddaughter Layla Smith, known to him as frog butt. He is also survived by his wonderful mother Shirley F. Smith. He was predeceased by his father Archie Smith and his sister Jennifer Smith.

Viewing will be held Monday December 3, at Barr Price Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, at 2 pm at the Chapel at Barr Price Funeral Home then will conclude at Southland Memorial Gardens.

He was a wonderful son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was an amazing man, quiet, humble, and endured many health problems but never failing to help others. Chris you were such a kindhearted man that has helped many, you're one of a kind. It is hard to believe that at just 46 years of age you are now gone to be at eternal rest. You will be missed and continuously loved by all, finally relieved of all earthly pain and suffering.
