Jacob Leroy Dooley
Jacob Leroy Dooley, 90, left this world on September 13, 2018. Born in Lexington, SC on August 3rd, 1928 to James and Lessie Frye Dooley.
Jacob proudly served his country in the Air Force during WW II.
He was employed by Interpace Corp for 26 years and Industrial Welding Supplies/Sunnox until his retirement.
Jacob spent his free time hunting and fishing with his wife and sons. He loved making fish bait, working the family garden and hosting family fish fries. He was quite the prankster as his family and friends can attest.
Surviving are 2 sons: George Larry Dooley (Nina) and Lewis Dooley, Sr (Vickie), step-daughter Tecey Johnson (Gary) and numerous step-daughters; 5 grandchildren Tracey Dooley Loudenback (Rhett), Michelle Dooley, Jason Dooley (Deborah), Corey Dooley Jeffcoat (Wayne) and Tony Dooley (Lisa), 7 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Ruth Miner Dooley and Eunice Alberta Frye Dooley, one sister Louise Dooley Hollis and 2 brothers; Morgan Dooley, and Thomas Dooley.
The family will receive friends at St. James Lutheran Church from 10 to 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Services will follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
