Horace R. Hilton       

Williston, SC – Horace Raymond Hilton, 94, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018.  Born in Ridgeville, SC he was the son of Travis and Alma Rudd Hilton.  Mr. Hilton served in World War II in Asia as a Sergeant in the 342nd Airdrome Squadron. He was a 1949 Chemical Engineering graduate of the University of South Carolina.  Mr. Hilton was a member of Williston Presbyterian church. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Sarah Derrick Hilton; son, Horace Raymond Hilton, Jr.

He is survived by sons, Sidney Derrick Hilton (Pat), Robert Benjamin Hilton (Karen), and James Edwin Hilton, grandchildren Ian, Jonathan, Lee, Sarah, Edwin, Kathryn, Caroline, Daniel, Travis, and Rebekah Hilton, great-grandchildren, Isabella, Milay, Joshua, and Isla Hilton, sister, Ruthie Koon (Donald).

Services will be conducted at 10:00 am Wednesday May 23 at Williston Presbyterian Church.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Williston Presbyterian Church; 207 Elko St.  Williston, SC 29853.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.   Visit our  guestbook at www.legacy.com/obituraries/charleston
