Memorial services for Homer E. Corley will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Monday November 18, 2019 at Barr-Price Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.
Homer E. Corley 87, of Lexington S. C. Passed away on Thursday November 14, surrounded by family and friends. Homer was born in West Columbia S. C. on August 14, 1932 to the late Earl C. Corley, Claudia and Victoria Corley. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean conflict.
Homer was a graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School. Retired from U S Postal Service with 42 years of service and Lexington County Sheriffs Department with 16 years of service as a bailiff. He enjoyed traveling and camping with Coffee Cup Campers for many years.
Homer is survived by his wife of 56 years Agnes B. Corley, Daughters, Marie Juhl(Bill),Debbie Yandle (DJ), Son, Eddie Corley (Lindsey, Grace, Annabelle, Lorelei)
and his “ four precious Grand-children” Zack and Jared Juhl Mackenzie and Kara Yandle. Homer is predeceased in death by his parents Brothers, Ralph H. Corley Charles E. Corley (Bev) Sisters, Betty C. Ballington (Hub) Nancy Jo Sharp, Edith C. Thompson (J P), Nephew, Kenny Ballington.
He is survived by a Brother in law, Charles M. Sharpe, Sister in law Harriett S. Corley, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and Nephews.
