Lexington-Memorial Service for Gary Allen Whittle, Sr., 62, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Taylor Street Baptist Church, Cayce. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Taylor Street Baptist Church P O Box 4602 West Columbia, SC 29171.
Mr. Whittle passed away Monday, December 2, 2019. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Cathalee Keisler Whittle and the late David Leroy Whittle, Sr. He loved his family and worked at Food Lion for 35 years as a Meat Cutter.
Surviving include his sons, Gary “Allen” Whittle, Jr. and Troy Gene Whittle; mother, Cathalee K. Whittle; brothers, Stephen L. (Sandra) Whittle and David L. (Tammy) Whittle, Jr.; sister, Pamela (Johnny) Faust; brother-in-law, David Mitchell; 2 grandchildren, Travis Whittle and Memorie Whittle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Dianne Mitchell.
