Gary Wayne Gobin

Gary Wayne Gobin 78 yrs passed away March 7, 2019 in Lexington SC. He was born in Eldorado Illinois, at home. And lived for many years in NW Indiana. He was an Ironworker at local 395 for 30 years. He attended UCSD and was a contractor in San Diego and was proud of the many projects he built there. 

He is survived by his wife Karen Mettner-Gobin for 59 yrs, Son Gary N. Gobin and wife Stella of California, Daughter Dawn (Gobin) Apostoloff and husband Carl of Indiana, Grandchildren  Melody Manning, Melissa Jackson, and Megan Gobin All of California, Anthony Apostoloff of Indiana & Brandon Apostoloff of Georgia, 6 great grandchildren, His Brother Mike Gobin (Carol deceased) and niece and nephew’s and a great niece and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his Father William and Mother Ruth Gobin, and his brother Phillip Gobin. 

He retired to Rio Rancho, NM in 2000. He was always building or repairing something.  He was on the committee of his HOAs in CA, NM and SC.  and always loved having something to repair or build. His love for technology and building was amazing
