Gail R Murphy

Gail Rivers Murphy, 71, of Lexington SC has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 18th, 2019. Gail was the daughter of S.W. and Lois Rivers. Gail is survived by her loving husband, Allen Murphy; daughters, Anna and Robin Murphy; grandchildren, Naomi and Zane; and brother, Richard Rivers, his wife Jean and family; as well as all the Murphy brothers and sisters. Gail, besides being a loving wife and wonderful mom and grandma, was also musical director, youth leader, and musician at several churches in the Midlands. Her last ministry position was as pianist at our home church, Dunn's Chapel for 10 of the last 11 yrs of her life. Visitation and Services will be held at Dunn's Chapel located at 281 Chapel Road West Columbia, SC 29172. Family will receive friends and all whom loved her at 1:30 and until service starts at 2:30 on Friday March 22, 2019. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Dunn's Chapel building fund.
