Frances Sightler Regan

Frances Sightler Regan, 87, passed away April 10, 2018. She was born on January 9, 1931 in Columbia, SC to the late William Duncan Hornsby and Ruby Loretta Hornsby.

Mrs. Regan was employed by Sears as Catalog Sales Manager for many years.  She and her husband, David, lived in Kure Beach, NC until his death where she received numerous awards for service to the community.

Mrs. Regan loved music and singing, was a member of Lexington Baptist Church where she sang in both choirs. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, George M. Sightler Jr. (Linda), Bobby Ray Sightler; grandchildren, Scott Sightler (Ginny), Denise Harper (Martin), Marc Sightler (Jennifer); great grandchildren, Emma and Abby Sightler; Jackson, Parsons, and Lawson Harper; Seth, Zane, and Lily Grace Sightler; sister, Betty Hayes; brother, William Hornsby (Susan); sister-in-law, Helen Cropper.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George M. Sightler Sr. and second husband, David C. Regan, daughter, Saran Sightler, sisters, Nell Caughman and Judy Hornsby.

Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 am, Friday, April 13, 2018 with funeral services following at 11:00 am at Lexington Baptist Church Chapel. Entombment will be in Woodridge Memorial Park Mausoleum.
