Everett Taylor Obituary

 

Services for Everett Wilber Taylor, 82, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel.  Burial will follow in Ridge Crest Memorial Park.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pond Branch United Methodist Church 1913 Pond Branch Road, Gilbert, SC  29054.

  Mr. Taylor passed away Friday January 3, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.  Born June 2, 1937, he was a son of the late Wade Wilber and Alma Marie Hallman Taylor.  He was a member of Pond Branch UMC, a US Army Veteran and retired from Greyhound Bus Lines with 35 years of service.  Mr. Taylor loved farming, hunting, fishing and wood working.

  Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Joyce Day Taylor, sons, Dwayne Taylor (Nancy) and Kelly Taylor, grandchildren, Cameron Taylor, Haylie Taylor and Michael Fox (Erica), sister, Patricia Marie West, many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

  He was predeceased by his parents and an infant son.
