Ernest Daniel Howard, Jr.

Gaston- Ernest Daniel “Dan” Howard, Jr., 56, passed away November 15, 2019. He was the son of Ernest Dan and Cecile Dooley Howard of Lexington, SC. He was born September 5, 1963 and graduated from Lexington High School in 1981. He attended Midlands Technical College for a short period of time. He worked in the grocery store business and was a district manager with Dollar Tree Stores. He attended St. David Lutheran Church when he was young and was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and enjoyed gardening later in life. He was a survivor of many health challenges during his life, not the least of which was losing a kidney to cancer at the age of 3. He always maintained his positive outlook and sense of humor. He is survived by his son, Brandon Howard (Megan); sisters, Cheryl Shealy (Bernie) and Terri Perry; grandsons, Colton and Grayson; and nephews, Austin and Christian Perry. Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 22, 2019 at St. David Lutheran Church.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
