Elizabeth Orrie Dooley

Lexington – Elizabeth “Lib” Dooley, 89, of Lexington, SC passed away February 18th, 2019 at Lexington Medical Center.  She was the daughter of Leroy and Sarah Monts. Mrs. Monts was preceded in death by her husband of over 66 years, William Roscoe Dooley, and brothers, J.B., Homer and Gregg Monts.

Mrs. Dooley is survived by a son, Jerry Dooley; grandson, Ryan Dooley; sister, Loretta (Ed) Ritenour; brothers, Willie (Brenda) Monts, and Thomas (Sandy) Monts. 

Elizabeth was a long time member of Red Bank United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 21st, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service (1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.).  Interment will follow at Red Bank United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Walter Hook, Tony Taylor, Derrick Monts, Rex Burkett, Jesse Monts and Gary Monts.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
