Elease Starnes Anderson

Services for Elease Starnes Anderson, 85, will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Anderson Family Cemetery, Gaston, SC.

Mrs. Anderson passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019, surrounded by her family. Born in Wagner, SC, she was the daughter of the late Etheridge and Annie Cleo Jackson Starnes. She was a Realtor, Home Health Care Giver and full time mom.

She is survived by 7 children; Kenneth Starnes (Lorraine), Gerald Starnes (Judy), Debra Jeffcoat (Fred), Dennis Burke (Melissa), Sandra Burke (Johnny), Glenn Anderson (Gwen), and Jerrianne Senn (Chip); 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, and one on the way.   She is also survived by 2 sisters, Anna Ree Roland and Peggy Jackson.

She was predeceased by her husband, David Earl Anderson, 9 sisters and 2 brothers.

Mrs. Anderson loved unconditionally and was devoted to God’s word. She praised God through her lovely singing voice 24-7.  She loved all God’s creatures, loved feeding birds and rescuing animals.
