Claudell R. Scott

Services for Claudell Rhoney Scott, 84, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel with the Rev. Scott Nurse officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NHC 2993 Sunset Blvd. West Columbia, SC 29169.

  Mrs. Scott passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Born in Hickory, NC she was a daughter of the late John W.  Rhoney and Adella Risher Bernhardt.  She was a member of Kedron Baptist Church and a retired nurse.

  Surviving are her children, Harriet (Barry) Oswalt, John Ott, George (Debbie) Ott,  Susan (Glen) Hall, Duwayne (Allie) Scott,  Rebecca (Phillip) Scott and Leigh Anne Scott; sister,  Gloria Infinger; 10 grandchildren, Rachel (Chris) Price, Anna (Sergio) Reyes, Olivia (Jarod) Ball, Wade (Jessica) Hall, Aimee (Michael) Crosby,  Kyle and Jacob Harris, Izaiah Posey, Alana Rikard, and Franklin Scott; and 8 great-grandchildren, Skyler, Alex, Matthew, June, Piper, Max, Maci, and Levi.

 She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Elijah Scott and brother, Jack Wade Rhoney.

  Our family would like to say thank you to several people. First, to the Nurses & Staff of NHC. Thank you for caring for our Mom, like she was your own. She was happy there and truly felt at home. To the 4th floor Nurses & Staff at Providence, thank you for your exceptional care and treatment. To the Hospice Nurse and Chaplin, thank you for providing care and comfort for not only Mom but for the rest of our family during her final moments. To everyone we are eternally grateful.
