Carl A. Cook

Leesville--Services for Carl Aubrey Cook, 82, will be conducted at 11am Monday  at Wittenberg Lutheran Church with Rev. Emily Edenfield officiating.  Visitation will be from 4-6pm Sunday  at Barr-Price Funeral Home Historic Leesville Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wittenberg Lutheran Church 233 N. Lee St. Leesville, SC 29070.

  Mr. Cook passed away Friday February 9, 2018.  Born in Leesville he was the   son of the late John Paul and Corrie Senn Cook. He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass after 29 years and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.  He was a member of Wittenberg Lutheran Church and B-L Masonic Lodge #138.

   Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Mary Lewis Cook, son, R. Alan Cook, daughter, Donna C. Smith, son-in-law, Johnny Powell, sister, Dorothy Hall (Dwight),   6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

  Mr. Cook was predeceased by a daughter, Diane C. Powell, and brother, Jimmy Cook.
